Functional medicine and integrative medicine is a patient-centered, science-based approach to health care management that focuses on identifying and addressing root causes of illness rather than simply treating symptoms.
It factors into account the body as an interconnected system and so imbalances in one area can affect overall health. Practitioners of functional medicine aim to restore optimal function by considering holistic aspects of a patient's health which may include lifestyle, environment, and unique biochemistry markers.
The emphasis on how different body systems interact and influence each other is why it is considered a more holistic approach. Functional and integrative medicine also has a more prevention-oriented focus. From a holistic perspective and proactive measures, patients are more likely to maintain health and prevent chronic diseases.

Services provided in the clinic include IV hydration and vitamin supplementation, peptide therapy, metabolic optimization with hormone replacement therapy, and medical weight loss.
IV hydration and vitamin supplementation have a variety of benefits but are most often utilized by patient’s to improve energy, focus and metabolism.
We can also treat specific symptoms with IV medications and supplements. IV infusions can help fill in the gap for some of the deficiencies we might have in our diets and lifestyle habits.
Oftentimes, patient’s don’t have a clear understanding of their metabolic health and so a comprehensive evaluation of medical history, wellness goals, and laboratory data can give us guidance on which areas need more attention.
Peptide therapy, metabolic optimization and hormone replacement therapies are all utilized as modalities to help achieve optimal health and body function. A common goal for patient’s no matter their medical history, is to feel and perform their best from day to day.
-
Hormone replacement therapy involves replacing the body’s natural hormones to optimal levels. As we age and factors including our environment, lifestyle and diet, impacts how our bodies produce and regulate hormone levels. Hormone replacement therapy in both men and women is safe, effective and often necessary when we are deficient to protect against disease and more serious illness.
-
Testosterone replacement therapy involves replacement of the body’s testosterone hormone to optimal levels. In men, TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) is often used to treat hypogonadism, or failure of the body to produce enough hormone. Testosterone is also recognized as a critical hormone for women and can help stabilize symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause.

We are currently offering GLP1 medications for weight loss and metabolic health.
GLP1 medications mimic your body’s natural incretin peptides in response to food intake. GLP1 medications affect how the body responds to hunger and satiety signals. This usually results in weight loss but can also have an impact on decreasing inflammation, risk of metabolic disease and improvement in other health metrics.
*These medications are not for everyone but are generally well tolerated.

The GLP1 medications we offer include semaglutide and tirzepatide injections as well as tirzepatide oral dissolving tablets.
-
Semaglutide and tirzepatide are both GLP1 (glucagon-like peptide 1) receptor agonists which mimic the action of the body’s own GLP1 hormone.
They help to reduce appetite and slow gastric emptying. Tirzepatide is a dual receptor agonist, mimicking the action of both GLP1 and GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) in the body.
It also helps to regulate appetite and blood sugar levels. Both medications are used for weight management but tirzepatide has been shown to have slightly higher effectiveness often with fewer side effects.

Primary IV formulations are intended to be signature “recipes” for targeted symptoms or pain points.
For example, Beauty IV drip would be a formulation that includes Vitamin C, Biotin, and vitamin B complex for strong nails, hair and glowing skin (anti-oxidant).
Custom IV infusions are more a-la-carte ingredients that patients can tailor based on what their symptoms or wellness goals are.

Injections:
Tri-immune: Glutathione, Vitamin C, and Zinc help boost immunity and accelerate recovery from common viruses.
Lipo Mino: Vitamin weight loss blend that helps to burn fat and increase energy.
B12: Most popular B vitamin that helps increase energy, brain function and metabolism.
NAD+: NAD is found in the body but levels drop as we age. It is an energy powerhouse compound that aids in cellular metabolism, cellular repair, and plays a key role in pathways that can modify aging.
Vitamin D: Crucial vitamin utilized in the body for immune response, cardiovascular and cognitive health.
Glutathione: Glutathione is normally produced by the liver. It is a powerful antioxidant and is essential for proper immune system function as well as tissue repair.
MICC: Injectable weight loss formula with combination of Methionine, Inositol, Choline, and Cyanocobalamin. These compounds work together to metabolize fat cells reducing fat deposits and accelerating weight loss. Can be used in combination with or independent of GLP1 medications.
